Welcome to The Learning Tree Preschool...
Mrs. Debbie McGahey (4s) is the owner/director and has been since the school was established in 1989. She is joined by three wonderful teachers Mrs. Rachel Selking (2s/3s), and Mrs. Theresia Mejias (2s/3s). The Learning Tree currently provides half-day preschool programs for 2 year-old, 3 year-old, and 4 year-old children.
We strive to provide the most developmentally appropriate curriculum for the children in each age group. Each year they will expand on what they learned in previous years while providing educational opportunities that will best prepare them for Kindergarten. We focus on social and emotional development; understanding, knowing, and using colors, shapes, and numbers; and developing core fundamental skills for their future classroom settings that will best prepare them for their futures. We look forward to our children learning to explore, discuss, create, communicate, interact, question, problem solve, think, reason, and play!
We provide a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment for your child, with many resources and planned activities. Children are engaged in arts & crafts activities, puzzles, reading, letter and number recognition, name writing, computer use, story time, sing-a-long, role-play/dress-up, and much more.
Each year our children participate in an end of year program to showcase their art, perform favorite songs, and share what they have learned with their families and friends.
We have a nice outdoor play area with updated playsets.

​2-Year Old Preschool Class
Two-day Program: Tuesday & Thursday
9:00AM - 12:00PM
Registration Fee: $125.00 Tuition: $225.00/month
​3-Year Old Preschool Class
​
Three-Day Program: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
9:00AM - 12:00PM
Registration Fee: $125.00 Tuition: $245.00/month
4-Year Old Preschool Class (Two Program Options)

Four-day Program: Monday - Thursday
9:00AM - 12:00PM
Registration Fee: $125.00 Tuition: $255.00/month
​
Five-day Program: Monday - Friday
9:00AM - 12:00PM
Registration Fee: $125.00 Tuition: $275.00/month
Registration & Other Fees:
Registration: $125 - Due with accepted application / Non-Refundable (all ages)
Withdrawal Fee: 1 month written notice must be given before withdrawing your child from our program; otherwise you will be responsible for an additional month's tuition.
First Tuition payment due: May 1, 2022 (non-refundable)

Tuition payments are due on the 1st of the month (Sept - Apr.).
**Payments received after the 5th business day of the month will be assessed a $15.00 late payment charge.

First Day of School: First Tuesday after Labor Day, 2021

Last Day of School: Mid-May 2022 (varies by class)

Holidays Observed: Same as Moore County School System
