Welcome to The Learning Tree Preschool...

Mrs. Debbie McGahey (4s) is the owner/director and has been since the school was established in 1989.  She is joined by three wonderful teachers Miss. Shayla Hill (4s), Miss Angie Thurman (2s/3s), and Miss Kalyn Pytel (2s/3s).  The Learning Tree currently provides half-day preschool programs for 2 year-old, 3 year-old, and 4 year-old children.

We strive to provide the most developmentally appropriate curriculum for the children in each age group.  Each year they will expand on what they learned in previous years while providing educational opportunities that will best prepare them for Kindergarten.  We focus on social and emotional development; understanding, knowing, and using colors, shapes, and numbers; and developing core fundamental skills for their future classroom settings that will best prepare them for their futures.  We look forward to our children learning to explore, discuss, create, communicate, interact, question, problem solve, think, reason, and play!

We provide a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment for your child, with many resources and planned activities.  Children are engaged in arts & crafts activities, puzzles, reading, letter and number recognition, name writing, computer use, story time, sing-a-long, role-play/dress-up, and much more.

Each year our children participate in an end of year program to showcase their art, perform favorite songs, and share what they have learned with their families and friends.

We have a nice outdoor play area with updated playsets.
